Due to the weather we may not be traveling to Bend.  If there is no school tomorrow 12/9/16 then we definitely will not be traveling.  If there is school, Matt and the bus company will be monitoring the weather to determine if we will be traveling or not.

If we do not travel, the game will be rescheduled for February 10th 2017. 
 

If you schedule a hotel room, please cancel as soon as possible.  She emailed me to state that she understands that due to weather we may not be able to cancel within the 24 hour rule, but to do it as soon as possible.

I was informed today by Mertie that in order for parents to get the discounted rate they would need to book directly through the hotel.  I coped information out of the email to me that give you instructions.  If you need to contact her directly her contact information is below the instructions on how to book your rooms.

Below the information you can provide your team parents to aid them in securing their reservation from the block

All rooms are reserved under St. Helens Lions Basketball Parents ^.   Individuals should call the hotel directly at (541) 388-2227 and ask for the St. Helens Lions Basketball Parents  block to secure their reservation; this will ensure they are given the discounted group rate of $92.00, plus lodging taxes.  A credit card is required at time of reservation. Cancellations must be made 24-hours prior to arrival.  If cancellations are not made by this time, 1 night’s room and tax may be charged.  Room block will be held until December 6, 2016. Any rooms not picked up from the block by this date will be released back to the hotel. For reservations made after this date, there is no guarantee that rooms or group rate will be available.

Parents, 

First and foremost, thank you for donating your time to run the concession stand and help the booster club.  The booster club helps all sports program in the district, and is a wonderful resource for our basketball program.  I spoke with Shannon a member of the booster club that is in charge of the concessions stand, and she stated that we do not need to arrive any earlier than 5:00 PM.  She will come in early and get everything set up and ready for us.
