The Lions swam against Sandy at an away meet on the 20th of January, the second of two meets back to back.
The girls beat Sandy 105-42. The girls "A" 200 Medley Relay placed first as did Trinyty Howard in the 200 Individual Medley and the 500 Freestyle. Maggie Wheeldon took first in the 50 Freestyle; Olive Owens in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke and both the Freestyle Relays- the 200 yard and also the 400 yard.
Once again the numbers weren't in our boy's favor. They placed first in 7 out of 11 events: the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays, Chase Parkhurst in the 200 IM, and 50 Free, Jacob Opdahl in the 100 Butterfly, Chris Cramer in the 100 Freestyle, Caleb Rickert in the 100 Breaststroke. The Pioneers having more entries per event, the numbers game favored Sandy and so our boys fell 63-73.
