In the second of two back to back swim meets, the Lions swam well but again with a little more than half the number of Wilsonville's swimmers both our girls and boys lost. We placed well, and in the boys case won first place in 7 out of 11 events, but the depth of Wilsonville's team gave them more points in the end.
Girl's score: St. Helens- 62 Wilsonville-105
Boy's score: St. Helens-72 Wilsonville-86
On the girl's side, Trinyty Howard won the 500 Freestyle and the girls placed first.200 Freestyle Relay.
On the boy's side, the Medley Relay and the 400 Freestyle Relay placed first. In individual events Chase Parkhurst placed first in the 200 Individual Relay as well as the 100 Freestyle Jacob Opdahl in the 50 and 100 Butterfly. Caleb Rickert won the 100 Breaststroke.
Up next is an away swim meet at Sandy on Wednesday.
